Fr Christmas & The Grinch who stole Christmas!
It’s that time of year when Bonfire Night is nearly here, but the fireworks will be still going off and will be heard well in to 2020. There is that Smokey nip in the air, that you can associate with a log burner or coal fire and It seems colder, now the days are shorter. Christmas seems only round the corner as the German Market will be open from the 7th November and Birmingham seems to be manic with shoppers anticipating a Black Friday deal.
All I can think about is that Magic that comes with Christmas and imagine Three Kings already planning their Journey to Bethlehem if they hadn’t left already to make it in time with delayed anticipation of the wonder that awaits them. I hope that before the time Christmas arrives I shall be able to introduce you too two new little friends, to keep me company in Fox Hollies, I dream and wish for Christmas’s Past, maybe hope that I could throw my arms around Mum and Dad in hope they would knock the front door Christmas morning and to be surrounded by Love & Family which is the real Magic, I’m sure you all wish for the same as well as new Maserati outside you front door, not that it would be around for long in Acocks Green, let’s dream away and hopefully I will have achieved enough this year, to have some Joy as the Manger in Bethlehem Cradles King in Hope I can keep pushing forward, with the gifts I have been given…….
Talking of Gifts. I hear from a reliable source that the Man in the Red Suit from Elf City is busy wrapping presents already and I whisper ‘Red Suit’ because the ‘The Grinch who stole Christmas’ is hot on his tale, so I dare not give much away just in case!
What I can tell you that he is making a one off appearance at ‘the Grange Private Members Club‘ on Sunday 1st December at the Christmas Craft Fair and The Grinch will try and sneak in, so kids Santa needs your help, because Shpongle, Santa’s Elf won be there! She is on the hunt for the Grinch.

It’s one of my Favourite local events with much excitement, plus it’s free entry in with a present from Santa. An opportunity to grab a bargain and see some familiar faces. Below is Santa and Shpongle in 2017, Shpongle is off in search of the Grinch!!!
May your preparation’s for Christmas be Fruitful. ‘You better Watch out! See you at the Grange!….
“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow,
‘to Change is to Live! – Macushla X
stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”
