The Journey to Bethlehem 2025.

Welcome to another Macushla Christmas blog! It doesn’t seem a year since last I was typing, how time flies! A busy year with a magical family wedding in Co Cavan. My Daughter Holly married Richard Stafford in true Irish tradition, this was a return home after 22 years and second visit for a family memorial! Another must the Calendar for 2026.

This year included a fantastic Fundraising event for prostate cancer on the Distinguished  Gentleman’s Ride to Alcester, pulling in £7000 by the South Midlands Scooter lads, thanks to all for your support and sponsorship! With plans for next year!

Another Superbike landed in the stable and a warm summer to enjoy it! A new Crib for the Stable to raise some charitable funds this Advent And a new synth to be creative with in the studio. Can’t wait !

The Flu Pandemic has certainly kept me busy and I didn’t escape infection and it’s been an up hill climb. Advent has kept Santa on the road, and with some blessing from above I’ve made it! Tired to say the least! Not as young as I used to be!

It’s Time to climb in to the Crib and sit still and savour that moment, clear the noise, loose the phone and give give thanks for that little seat on Christs shoulders, what a safe and Holy place to be when we are are lost at times, but he  bring us back with his infinite Love sparing enough to share out to those in loss and grief.

I’m certainly looking forward to some downtime and family time, with loved ones. What ever you do and where ever you are have a Blessed Christmas with your families and friends. Peer past the Tinsel and give a thought for less fortunate.

Be safe, be kind! Service and Love! Macushla x
